Art and craft resource person at Anand niketan democratic school, Bhopal

I taught art and craft at Anand Niketan Democratic School-Bhopal from June 2014 to March 2016, helping pupils realize their creativity in bricolage (making things out of waste material), origami, collage, macramé, etc. Working with children was a great learning experience for me and also helped reignite my creative talent.

I conducted a three-day workshop for trainers of Samavesh, an NGO that works to improve teaching and learning in government-run schools , in crafting useful articles out of mud, papier mache, waste paper and plastic bottles, as well as in block printing making one’s own blocks using potato, iron nails, rubber, foam sheet, etc.
