I conducted a three-day workshop for trainers of Samavesh, an NGO that works to improve teaching and learning in government-run schools , in crafting useful articles out of mud, papier mache, waste paper and plastic bottles, as well as in block printing making one’s own blocks using potato, iron nails, rubber, foam sheet, etc.

Bhopal a beautiful place

We moved to Bhopal in June 2013 from Delhi and lived there for 3 years, before moving back to Noida in April 2016 . These 3 years that we spent in the lake city of Bhopal, have some of the most pleasant memories and wonderful experiences of life. This beautiful city, offered and welcomed us, the people of Bhopal were very friendly and helpful. The climate is amazing, even at the peak of summers , it doesn't feel too hot as evenings and mornings are quite pleasant, spring and autumn is always so very beautiful, the different shades of colours in nature liven up the whole place, rainy season is also one of the most lovely seasons there, where you get plenty of rainfall. The level of pollution in this city is minimal, overall a good,clean and liveable city. I would like to share some of my pleasant memories of the place with you'll. I taught art and craft at Anand Niketan Democratic School-Bhopal from June 2014 to March 2016, helping pupils realize their creativity in bricolage (making things out of waste material), origami, collage, macramé, etc. Working with children was a great learning experience for me and also helped reignite my creative talent.
